'' A moonlight dream...."

finally after 3 weeks.. may i present to u my ultimate shoe Moonlight Couture... this shoe was a little different from my initial sketch but it turns out to be alright...

anyway... this shoe is priceless to me as i put in lots of
effort in this shoe... i did the whole shoe myself (with a lil help from my mentors) from the papercutting and lasting of the shoe to the sewing and embroidery of the shoe.... the embroidery itself took me bout a week to finish...

now the description.... the shoe body was made using black duchess silk with a black leather outsole... it was leather lined and machine sewn.... the embroidery of the shoe consist of lots of black ribbons and frills, black laces, metallic fabric, and lots of swarovski crystals... the insole of the shoe was decorated with black lace machine sewn on a pewter metallic fabric.... the embroidery of the shoe were hand sewn.....

credits go to ~aheadOftime again for one of my pieces called "Forgotten Dreams" ( [link])as my inspiration and my mentors who taught me for the pass 6 months.... hopefully i'll enter London College of Fashion's Cordwainers College with these as its quite hard to get in... wish me luck....:D ..... so enjoy!

P.S. this pair shoe is not for sale :P

the initial sketch - [link]

update - i got into central saint martins school of art instead.

if you have any thoughts about my work, pls leave a comment.... i appreciate it... :)

i love the crystals hanging down in the back.
all the ribbons and bows are perfect.
the black makes it sleek-looking and very much like a party shoe.

great job!

wire-workers anonymous: because 6 pairs of pliers aren't enough.
