After more than a year of inactivation in dA, may i present you my Arcanum jewelry i did in my foundation year. The design is based on the logarithmic shape of the nautilus shell with the idea of concealment and camouflage. notice there is a compartment where you can hide and store something (here's a paper note) inside the ring.
I am particularly proud of this piece as it is not just made entirely out of recycled materials but one very different material. The body of the ring is made out of compressed dried leaves, the others are of patinated and saw-pierced scrap copper (for a camouflage effect). It took about a whole bin bag worth of dried leaves to produce a rectangular block the size of a brownie. It is fully biodegradable so you can bury it and it will be decomposed, your secret kept safe within mother nature.
Took me quite a while to made this, lots of experimentation with materials and soldering the small bits and pieces were a nightmare. But hey i've done it!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
